|Driving to Tijuana
To get to Tijuana from the United States, use either freeway 5 or 805, both of which lead directly to the international crossing at San Ysidro, California. To enter at the Otay crossing leave either 5 or 805 at the exit to freeway 905 and proceed to follow that highway directly to the Otay crossing.

|Taking a Taxi in Tijuana
If you wish to cross on foot or use a taxi or tourist bus service, you will find ample parking in San Ysidro, with bus or taxi service available from the large parking lot located wet of freeway. This parking lot is next to the pedestrian border crossing. From there it is a ten minute walk to the downtown shopping and restaurant area along Avenida Revolucion.
If you don’t want to drive you can take the trolley up to San Ysidro station and walk to Tijuana or you can take a bus to cross you over, these are located next to the trolley station and in a parking lot in front of Plaza de las Americas mall on Camino de la Plaza Ave.
